Beginning Guitar
Welcome to the world of guitar! These lessons are great for those who are brand new to guitar. Dr. W works with students on setting up a new guitar, tuning strings, musical notes, chord formation, strumming patterns, muting strategies, and learning first songs.
Intermediate Guitar
Welcome to the woodshed! This is where you learn the techniques to learn anything. In these classes, Dr. W teaches students the guitar techniques such as hammers/pulls, bending, picking techniques, muting, CAGED system, pentatonic scales, introduction to FUTTUPLETS, right-hand tapping, sweep-picking, working with a metronome/drum machine and programming effects and stomp boxes. In addition, these lessons come with practical exercises and customized practice regimens.
Advanced Guitar
Welcome to the world of theory! Dr. W's advanced lessons teach the theory necessary to analyze and compose modern music. Here, you'll learn scales, arpeggios, hybrid scales, fretboard theory, harmony, songwriting, ear training, solo composition, recording tips, gear discussions, gigging strategies, and FUTTUPLETS GALORE!
